Heart's Wings

I hope I can find a better title for this. This is ummm- nearly 11x17 mixed media painting. Watercolors, colored pencils, inks, whatever I could lay my hands on. It's one of the more colorful ones that I've done. I think I tried every technique I've ever used and some completely new ones on this!

This is from an old pen and ink that I decided to revise and finally turn into a painting. I just finished it tonight, and since it's late, I'm going to celebrate by going to sleep.

EDITED to fix a problem with what the low-resing did to one of the eyes.

Heh. I just realized that this has a heart-shaped composition. You go from the guys's head, down the girl's hair to the falcon, up the dragon's tail to the dragon's head, then over and down to the girl's face. Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!!!!
