Bright Blessings

This is my first watercolor that is done entirely in watercolor. I also used a new technique where you lay down all the yellows, then oranges, reds, then greens, then blues, then a "dull" dark mix. It makes it REALLY luminous, so much so that this scan can't possibly show all the brightness.

The piece has its problems, in that the skintones are a little unusual, and the composition could be a lot better, but I'm happy at finally doing a pure transparent watercolor. And I'm really happy with the cat.
